General provisions for making a Tip-Up

Firstly, what is a Tip-Up?

A Tip-Up is a way for you to appreciate the content provided by a creator, such as your favourite Youtuber or Instagram influencer (a “Creator”). You decide how much appreciation you want to give to the Creator and make a card payment using your Mastercard or Visa payment card (“Tip-Up”). The amount of the Tip-Up will be credited from your Visa or Mastercard and settled to the Creator’s account.

Secondly, who are we?

Fundof SA, with registration number CH-442.131.756 and registered office at Via Dufour 1, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland  (“Fundof”, “we”, “our” or “us”)

We have partnered with Intergiro Intl AB (publ) (“Intergiro”), a Swedish Fintech company who provides card acquiring services which has enabled us to create a platform where followers of Creators can make Tip-Ups to support them. Intergiro acts as the card acquirer when you make a Tip-Up and we enable you to make a Tip-Up on Intergiro's card acquiring platform by integrating Intergiro’s Tip-Up payment integration on our website.

Intergiro is licensed and supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Sw. Finansinspektionen) as an electronic money institution with the authority to issue electronic money and to provide payment services. Intergiro’s company registration number is 556965-3537, their VAT number is SE556965353701 and their license number is 48003. Intergiro’s registered address is Box 3093, 103 61 Stockholm, Sweden.

How to make a Tip-Up?

To make a Tip-Up, you technically make a card payment using your Mastercard or Visa payment card. To do that you need to provide Intergiro with certain information via the Creator’s personal link. Intergiro need the following information (it is however possible for you to save your information so you don’t have to type it again):

  1. Tip-Up amount;
  2. cardholder name;
  3. card number;
  4. expiration date;
  5. CVC number (which is the last three digits of the number on the back of your card); and
  6. your email address.

Cancelling your Tip-Up

Once you have executed the card payment and made the Tip-Up, you cannot cancel it. If you made the Tip-Up to the wrong Creator, you should always contact that Creator to ask that Creator to send your money back. If this does not work, you should contact your card issuing bank for further assistance.

How long will it take to make a Tip-Up?

Once you have executed the Tip-Up, if you have funds available on your Mastercard or Visa payment card (or the account connected to it), Intergiro usually settles the amount to the Creator right away.

Non-execution of a Tip-Up?

Intergiro may be unable to execute your Tip-Up if you do not have enough money on your Mastercard or Visa payment card (or the account connected to it). Further, Intergiro may refuse to execute a Tip-Up if Intergiro has reason to believe that it is in breach of any applicable legislation, rules or regulations.

Tip-Up limits

Intergiro may, at their sole discretion, impose limits on the amount and value of Tip-Up’s you can make. If the amount you would like to Tip-Up exceeds any such limit you will be informed and you can change the Tip-Up amount.

Fees

The Creator has agreed to pay a fee to be able to use the Tip-Up functionality. This means that such a fee will be deducted from the amount you Tip-Up. As an example, if you Tip-Up a Creator with 3 euros, 30 cents will be deducted from the amount as a fee paid by the Creator, and the remainder will be paid to the Creator.
